Carson Vittorio - Founder and Owner
Carson brings 8 year of experience with Milesplit IL to Illinois Running News. He started this media page as a junior in high school and after leaving Milesplit has decided to restart it. He wanted a means of a free platform for content in an industry that charges customers for certain content. Carson also coaches at Plainfield South high school.
Kennedy Ruff - Intern
Kennedy is an intern with Illinois Running News who started during the Track & Field Season of 2025. She is a Junior at Hinsdale South High School in Darien, Illinois where she is an all-state 300 hurdler. She will be doing photography and Meet Coverage for Illinois Running News. She wants to be involved in a career in athletics after she graduates college.
Vivian Lee-Yee - Intern
Vivian is an intern with Illinois Running News who started during the Track & Field Season of 2025. She is a Junior at Latin High School in Chicago, Illinois. She will be doing photography and Meet Coverage for Illinois Running News.
Ray Waliewski - Intern
Ray is an intern with Illinois Running News who started during the Track & Field Season of 2025. He is a Senior at Lyons High School in LaGrange, Illinois. He will be doing photography and Meet Coverage for Illinois Running News. He has also been involved with sports journalism through the media of radio through his school’s radio station. He has been the podcasting director and sports director for the last year and a half for the local station.
Marc Mac Cormac - Intern
Marc is an intern with Illinois Running News who started during the Track & Field Season of 2025. He is a Junior at Lake Zurich High School. He will be doing Meet Coverage for Illinois Running News. Fun fact: Marc was featured in a Illinois Running News Interview during the 2024 Cross Country Season
Luis Flores - Intern
Luis is an intern with Illinois Running News who started during the Track & Field Season of 2025. He is a Senior at St. Laurence High School in Burbank, Illinois where he is an all-state distance runner. He will be doing Graphic Design for Illinois Running News. He will help spearhead our weekly "Highlights Of Week" series on Instagram and X.
Harley Rizzs - Intern
Luis is an intern with Illinois Running News who started during the Track & Field Season of 2025. He is a Senior at St. Laurence High School in Burbank, Illinois where he is an State Champion Sprinter. He will be doing Graphic Design for Illinois Running News and some Photography.
Jackson Summy - Intern
Jackson is an intern with Illinois Running News who started during the Track & Field Season of 2025. He is a Senior at Lakes High School in Lake Villa, Illinois. He is a All-State distance runner for the Eagles. He will be writing articles for Illinois Running News this year and completing written interviews as well.
Noelan Tossing - Intern
Noelan is an intern with Illinois Running News who started during the Track & Field Season of 2025. He is a Junior at Deerfield High School. He will be doing photography, Videography, and Meet Coverage for Illinois Running News.
