Nationals Week Recap: Day 4 Key Results


Lets look at some of the top performances of the penultimate day of national competition. We saw some great performances at Nike Outdoor Nationals and New Balance Outdoor Nationals. We also saw some great performances at the Jane Dickens Invite.


Nike Outdoor Nationals-

  • Katelyn Lehnen of Chatham-Glenwood gets an All-American Honor with a 6th place finish in the Girls Championship 200m with a time of 23.94.

  • Phillip Cupial of Downers Grove North takes 16th in the Boys Championship Mile in 4:11.71. Ryan Eddington takes 17th with a time of 4:12.30.

  • DePaul College Prep takes 7th in the Boys Championship 4x400m with a time of 3:23.13.

  • Addison Stadsholt of Athens takes 8th in the Girls Championship Hammer with a mark of 146-3.


New Balance Outdoor Nationals-

  • Ben Crane of New Trier takes 7th in the Boys Championship 2 Mile with a time of 8:58.17.

  • Morgan Flaska of Barrington takes 8th in the Girls Championship Hammer with a throw of 155-1.

  • Tony Keene of Harrisburg takes 2nd in the Boys Championship Pole Vault with a clearance of 16-4.75. Lukas Brauc of Oak Park-River Forest takes 4th with a vault of 16-0.75.

  • Kwabena Osei-Yeboah of Oak Park-River Forest takes 11th in the Boys Championship Triple Jump with a 47-7.

  • Annika Swan of St. Ignatius takes 25th in the Girls Championship Mile in 4:50.28.


Jane Dickens Invite-

  • Daisha Brunson of Conant bests Jordan Hamb of South Shore in the 15-16yo Girls 100H with a time of 14.36 to 14.37. There was a -3.0 wind.

  • Mariyah Robinson of Simeon wins the 15-16yo Girls 100m in 12.03 (-2.5).

  • Lauren DellAngelo of Plainfield North wins the 17-18yo Girls 400m in 57.75.

  • Jordan Hamb of South Shore wins the 15-16yo Girls Long Jump with a jump of 18-9.25.

  • Courtney Burt of Whitney Young wins the 15-16yo Girls Triple Jump in 38-9.75.
