Day 2 of Nationals week was home to the 2nd day of U20s and Nike Outdoor Nationals and the home of Day 1 of New Balance Outdoor Nationals. Lets look at some of the best results of the day.
USATF U20 Championship-
Ana-Liese Torian of Alabama A&M (formerly Homewood-Flossmoor) wins the Womens 100H Finals with the top time of 13.12. She will represent Team USA at the U20 World Championships in Peru.
Dan Watcke of Villanova (formerly Hinsdale Central) takes 2nd in the Mens 800m with a new PR of 1:47.59. He will represent Team USA at the U20 World Championships in Peru.
Alex Johnson of Arizona State (formerly of Huntley) takes 2nd in the Womens Long Jump with a mark of 20-10.75. She will represent Team USA at the U20 World Championships in Peru.
Tyler Michelini of Arizona (formerly Lake Park) takes 2nd in the Mens Shot Put with a mark of 66-2.5. He will represent Team USA at the U20 World Championships in Peru.
Nike Outdoor Nationals-
Francesca Mora of British International takes 6th in the Girls Middle School 800m with a time of 2:18.96.
Micah Weiss of Latin takes 5th in the Boys Middle School 800m with a time of 2:02.23.
Grayslake Central takes 2nd in the Girls Emerging Elite SMR with a time of 4:14.82.
DePaul College Prep takes 3rd in the Boys Championship 4x200m with a time of 1:28.95.
Arisa Bisofa of Lake Zurich takes 5th in the Womens Emerging Elite Discus with a throw of 122-02.
New Balance Outdoor Nationals-
Brayden Domont of Bourbonnais JH takes 12th in the Boys Middle School Mile with a time of 4:40.62.
Molly Mocko of St. Petronille ran at Nike Nationals on Wednesday in the Mile. She traveled to New Balance the following day to PR and run 5:07.98.
Zoe Carter of Normal University takes 6th in the Girls Championship 5K with a time of 16:59.60.
